LLP “R&D Center ‘Kazakhstan Engineering’” is the winner of “SHAIQAS 2026”

News

On August 13–15, 2026, the SHAIQAS 2026 engineering championship on military technologies was held at the Amandyk training ground in the Akmola Region, organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  Dauren Zhumataevich Kosanov, also took part in the event, which underscored the significance of the competitions and the importance of developing modern military and engineering technologies in the country. The teams were evaluated in the following categories: ground robotics, unmanned systems, tactical training, and cybersecurity.

Seventeen of the best teams out of about 100 teams that participated in the initial stage advanced to the competition finals. They included students, representatives of engineering schools, industrial enterprises, and law enforcement agencies.

The team of R&D Center Kazakhstan Engineering LLP (hereinafter referred to as the "R&D Center") showed the best result and took 1st place at SHAIQAS 2026. This victory was not only a significant sporting result, but also a confirmation of the high level of competence of the R&D Center specialists in the field of modern unmanned and robotic technologies.

As part of the competition, the R&D Center team went through several dynamic and technically challenging stages. Among them are a drone race, the evacuation of a simulated wounded person using a robotic tankette, and the completion of a task involving the dropping of a training load onto a designated target. At SHAIQAS 2026, special attention was paid not only to the speed of task completion but also to the participants’ ability to make prompt decisions on the spot, interact effectively as a team, and apply robotic and unmanned technologies in conditions close to practical tasks.

The successful performance of the “R&D Center” team was the result of professional training, engineering expertise, and well coordinated teamwork. It is also noteworthy that the team was predominantly composed of young professionals united by the desire to develop domestic technologies and contribute to the country’s future. The high level of patriotism, responsible attitude to their work, and hard work enabled the participants to present JSC “NC Kazakhstan Engineering” in a worthy manner at the competitions. Completing tasks of varying complexity and nature required the team to demonstrate high concentration, precise control of equipment, prompt response to changing conditions, and the ability to make effective decisions in a short time.

The specialists at the “R&D Center” will continue to improve their practical skills and develop technological solutions that contribute to increasing efficiency and strengthening the potential of the domestic engineering school.

We congratulate the team of LLP “R&D Center ‘Kazakhstan Engineering’” on their well deserved victory! We wish them new professional heights, large scale projects, technological breakthroughs, and outstanding results!
